Step 8:  Conduct Experiment

Any projects that require special forms will REQUIRE pre-approval from PRSEF before you are allowed to begin.  All other projects should get approval from your sponsor to make sure your procedure is sufficient and that your experiment is designed well.  Judges at both contests will be looking for well designed experiments, and if you complete your experiment without review, you may be presenting a weak project.

Conducting your Experiment
  • Follow your well written procedure
  • Collect data often (as specified by your procedure)
  • Take notes of anything interesting and/or out of the ordinary
  • Take pictures (for your presentation).  You can't go back in time to get those!

This step will be completed independently, but you are still encouraged to ask questions if you have them.
