Step 15:  PJAS State Competition (Not yet updated for 2022-23)

Students that score a 1st award at the Regional PJAS Competition are eligible to compete at the state contest in May.

Date:  May 16, 2022

Location:  Penn State University


What to Expect:
  • The PJAS State Competition is very similar to the regional contest, but you are now competing with students from all over Pennsylvania who have earned a 1st award.
  • You may revise your project based on feedback from the regional judges.
  • Students still present their projects to a panel of judges in 8-10 minutes followed by judges' questions
  • Additional awards are available at the state contest.
