Step 1:  Make a Commitment to the Contests

A non-insignificant step is recognizing the amount of work and effort to complete a project.  Take a moment to reflect on whether your schedule will allow you to complete a project.

You will be expected to:
  • Complete a majority of your project outside of the school day and outside of the school building
  • Meet deadlines (sign-up, required forms, completed project, presentation...etc)
  • Prepare and attend competitions, including making arrangements for transportation to contests or meetings.

I think you will find this journey rewarding, but you should know what you are getting into before you decide to continue.  Feel free to browse through the other pages on this site to see what is expected.
